Story
I played the game a day after seeing the movie. Okay, so it's got Matrix:Reloaded exclusive clips. It's got FMVs. But after going 3/4 through the game, I still couldn't tell the exact story plot. It's a bit hard to follow, and though you get "cornerstones" here and there, you don't get the feeling of a continuous storyline.
Graphics
Nothing that's a big revolution. The movie is so high-tech graphic-wise, that the game's medium-quality graphics don't stand up to par. The game runs smooth, but it's a bit of a polygon festival at times. Character animation isn't as smooth as it could be.
Music / Sound
Can you say repetitive? Again? And again? It's like there ALWAYS action, ALWAYS tension, and ALWAYS a dramatic moment when you play. I want game music to bring me emotions. Bring me somewhere. Not make me want to play on mute when I got killed doing the same sequence for the 15th time.
GamePlay
Kung-fu moves and the "focus time" feature are very nice. The first 20 times. After awhile it quickly gets old. The camera doesn't do much to enhance the super moves you can do, and often gets in the way. And the game is mostly about shooting. And driving. And shooting. And more shooting. Yes, it's a shooter. Max Payne is also a shooter, and is a lot better at it. Rent this game, don't buy it.
